Returning to Nursery
Acorns Bear has had his bath and is ready to see all his friends back in nursery this week.
Amanda from Acorns Priory House has written you all a poem.
Returning to Nursery
Twas the night before nursery,
The first day of opening,
Since lockdown had struck;
With a Covid19 warning!
Alarms set to wake up,
The children excited;
The parents with flags out,
To see friends reunited.
Good morning and welcome,
The staff’s happy faces,
Warm cuddles and smiles,
At the doors are awaiting.
We’ve missed you, you’ve grown;
Come, let’s have a cuddle!
Or perhaps you’d prefer to play with a puzzle?
There’s trains and there’s play dough,
There’s water, there’s clics,
Or maybe you’d like to show us some tricks!
Say goodbye to Mummy;
Blow her a kiss,
She’ll catch it and keep it, until it is 6!
Then she’ll be back, the day will go fast;
Then home, bath and bed and you can relax!
A day at Llanishen,
It’s always such fun,
We’ve missed you so much,
But you’re back, so ……. WELCOME!
