Update 12th June 2020

Acorns Update 12th June 2020

As you are aware, the Welsh Government has announced that nurseries are able to plan to re-open alongside schools on 29th June 2020 and childcare settings have been asked to plan for this accordingly.

We are therefore proposing that our nurseries in Wales will reopen on Monday 29th June. This will be subject to a review by Welsh Government on 18th June where a final decision will be made. Therefore, at this stage, we do not have any guidance on the capacity of the individual nurseries.

As always, the safety and wellbeing of our children, staff and parents will be of paramount importance and we have conducted risk assessments to identify all measures and actions required to minimise the risk of transmission of the coronavirus within the nurseries.

Letters have gone out to parents today and we will be in contact during the week commencing 22nd June to confirm arrangements.

We look forward to welcoming you and your children back to nursery.

Best Wishes
