Happy 28th Birthday Acorns!
Acorns Nurseries have been celebrating this week, 28 years since first opening the doors in 1988. Oakfield Street Acorns, which was the very first nursery, celebrated by making this delicious Acorns cake.
Since then Acorns Nurseries has grown considerably, with 11 nurseries in Cardiff, Newport, Nantgarw and Bristol.
Acorns Nurseries are now providers of the Childcare Offer in Wales for eligible working parents of 3-4 year olds. Parents can apply by contacting the local Family Information Service.
