Father’s Day at Acorns

The children at Acorns nurseries enjoyed making cards and gifts for Father’s Day.  Acorns House and Whitchurch Acorns had visitors from Zoo Lab UK and Animal Zone UK who gave the children and their Daddies a chance to learn about animals, insects and reptiles.

The children (and some brave Dads) had the opportunity to touch and hold some the animals and reptiles. A fantastic hands-on experience to start their context for learning about animals.

ONS Acorns had a EURO 2016 themed Father’s Day celebration, with football matches and trophies for the Daddies.  Everyone enjoyed a slice of the football cake at the end.
