Team Building at Acorns

Parc Nantgarw Acorns staff scaled new heights this week when they climbed Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons on Sunday.  Team building activities help our staff develop new skills, encourages trust, motivation, effective communication and improves morale.  Employees benefit from a sense of accomplishment by completing a challenging task working as a group and learning new ways to improve communication skills.

Pen y Fan is the highest peak in South Wales, situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park.  The mountain and surrounding area are owned by the National |Trust.  At 886 feet above sea level, Pen y fan is the highest British peak south of Cadair Idris in Snowdonia.  The twin summits of Pen Y fan and Corn Du were once referred to as Cadair Arthur (Arthur’s Seat).
