Happy Birthday Acorns!

Acorns is celebrating our 27th Birthday this week.  On the 17th October 1988 we opened the doors to our first nursery on Oakfield Street, Roath for the very first time.

Acorns quickly grew and Baby Acorns opened in 1990.  This was quickly followed by BBC Wales Acorns and today we have 11 nurseries looking after 1400 children, together with our Easter and Summer holiday play scheme which has been running for 25 years.

Acorns recognise the importance of a great team and we have fantastic loyal staff, many of whom have been with us from the early days.  We also have several staff who came to us as children and now we have great delight looking after their little ones.

The last 27 years have flown and we are looking forward to a fun and exciting future.
