Registering your Child with Acorns

When considering a nursery, it is important to visit and meet the staff who will care for your child.

Our Nursery Manager or Assistant will be happy to show you around at any time. There is no need to make an appointment.

If you wish to register your child with Acorns please complete the Waiting List form enclosed within our brochure.

Upon receipt of this Head Office will contact you to inform you of availability. Nursery spaces are operated on a first request, first granted basis, with priority given to existing parents. When you have been allocated a nursery place, you will receive written confirmation requesting a ‘holding fee’ of £50 for each day you have reserved.

When we have received this holding fee your child will be guaranteed a nursery place. Holding fees are refundable when your child leaves the nursery providing your account balance is up to date and 4 weeks written notice is received by Head Office and the Nursery Manager.

If you decide to reduce your days, either before your child’s start date or at any time after you have taken up your nursery place, the Nursery Manager requires 4 weeks written notice.

If you do not take up the place your holding fee is non-refundable. However, exceptional circumstances will be taken into consideration.
