Snowdogs Tails in Wales Trail – 16th September -26th November 2017

All the staff and children at Acorns Nurseries are getting very excited about the Snowdogs trail going live this weekend.  For ten weeks a pack of Snowdogs will be unleashed onto the city’s streets, iconic buildings and open spaces as part of an extraordinary public art trail.

Our very own Snowdog ‘Plentyn’ will be located in The Hayes outside Central Library and her four Pups will be upstairs in St David’s 2 outside John Lewis.  The children from all our nurseries have contributed by helping to paint the backgrounds of the Pups or have painted seasonal pictures in nursery that have been added to the Pups.  I’m sure the children will be very excited to take their families to see their very own handiwork on display in Cardiff.  Trail maps will be available from the nurseries later this week.

Fundraising activities have taken place already at lots of nurseries and there are many more planned.  All funds raised will go to support Ty Hafan. Ty Hafan is one of the Uk’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers the only children’s hospice service in South Wales. Acorns Nurseries are delighted to support such a wonderful charity.
